Classes are held one night per week, each session being three hours in length. A large portion of the class session is lab based. Students are required to complete 2-3 hours of homework online each week. Class sessions are 36 weeks and are in 9-week blocks (9 weeks on and two weeks off.) The school year runs August to May. Students learn in a curricular pathway that will enable them to become licensed Electricians in the Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Construction Trade. Learning includes electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, extensive safety, Branch Circuit Wiring and Switch Control, Industrial Control Systems, Conduit Bending using hand and mechanical bending equipment, Photo-Voltaics (Solar Power), Project Management, Leadership, and Estimation.
