All instructors are Expanded Functions Dental Assistants and previous CDA's. We have RDH's on staff as well.

Program Description:

Dental Radiology is five week program and can be taken in person instructional or online instructional. The hands on portion of the course must be completed in a dental office and is required by the State of Indiana for Proficiency. The State of Indiana Radiology board has approved this program and we are listed in the Approved Providers for the state of Indiana.

51.0601 Dental Assisting/Assistant A program that prepares individuals to provide patient care, take dental radiographs (x-ray photographs), prepare patients and equipment for dental procedures, and discharge office administrative functions under the supervision of dentists and dental hygienists. Includes instruction in medical record-keeping, general office duties, reception and patient intake, scheduling, equipment maintenance and sterilization, basic radiography, pre- and post-operative patient care and instruction, chairside assisting, taking tooth and mouth impressions, and supervised practice.

Students must have attended a Dental Assisting program or have One year on the job (verified) training to attend this program.
