Qualifications of Instructors:

Instructors must have the required education and experience to appropriately teach the program content. Examples of education and experience include, but are not limited to, certificates and/or degrees from postsecondary institutions; certifications from industry-recognized agencies, and practical work experience in, or in a field closely related to, the career fields the program prepares students to enter. Program Description:

This program prepares students to gain industry certifications and ultimately work in settings such as Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy Offices and Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospitals, and Wellness/Fitness Centers. Upon graduation from this program, students are eligible to sit for the Physical Therapy Technician Certification (PTTC) examination sponsored by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). Graduates are also prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam sponsored by the National Healthcareer Association.This program is powered by MedCerts.
